I can’t believe I’m already done with week 26. That’s insane.

And I don’t have many complaints. I always have something to complain about, but not this evening!

I am thankful to God for every kick and every thump in there… I am also thankful to God for keeping David and me safe. We’ve seen so many car accidents in the past 2 days that we were beginning to fear for our lives driving in this area. It’s dangerous out there.

Slowly but steadily, 15 minutes at a time, the baby’s room is beginning to be clear of non-baby things. For a 16′x 13′ room, it’s HUGE for a nursery and we’ll be keeping two non-baby furniture pieces in there just because. One is a twin bed that was my great-grandmothers and the other is a desk that will work better as a changing table than it has worked as a desk. For some reason, the kitchen table just makes a much better desk than the real desk!
