I was shopping at Ross today. a first for me. got two REALLY awesome pieces of clothing, good quality too, but that’s not the coolest thing. The coolest thing is this Suspension Dimension Butterfly Cat Chair I picked up for $8! Now I know Petsmart isn’t selling them anymore, but I didn’t get it at Petsmart, now, did I? Anyhow, this is one of the better pictures I could find of it online with a goooooooogle search… anyhow, I can already hear you wondering… Come on now, would a CAT really sit in it afterall?? That’s just a waste of $8. Let me assure you that it is already the favorite seat in the house of our older, larger, lazier cat, Mambo! I mean, no assembly, just unfold the thing, and there’s Mambo already sitting in it with his eyes half shut. Finding anything Mambo loves is … not easy, so you can see why I think this is the coolest thing.

Saturday I went in for a haircut. I had about 8-12 inches taken off, depending where it came from… My stick-straight long brown hair turned into this kind of cut and I love every inch of it! Actually, my ‘do is a little longer than I had originally wanted, but I will have a trim coming up in a few weeks to fix that oversight. I think the hairdresser was afraid to go too short despite my coaxing. She had wanted to only cut 6-8 inches off but I was watching every snip and encouraged her to keep going shorter, so what I was left with was half-way between what I had wanted and what she thought I wanted. Now I will need to find a retailer who carries my butane curling iron’s butane refills… -Jen
