My pumpkin
from ‘02

was actually the winning pumkin of the Bible study group that year. David (who carved the trombone pumkin to the left) won this year with his coca-cola themed pumpkin. You see, every year we get together at the Moulton’s house in late October and carve trivial themes (although this one was not trivial: it had a purpose to keep people thinking about our reason of fellowship) on pumpkins and the winner wins a gift card to Target. Not bad, eh?
If you’re wondering where this topic came up, just view the comments from the previous posting. Thanks, Jamie, for your curiosity… it gave me a chance to show-off my Jesus pumpkin. I had quite a time carving the letters backwards and at an angle so that the candle-light would shine up on the wall like that.
