House hunting?

We’ve officially begun the hunt for a home which will most likely be a longer hunt than we have originally anticipated. We’ve been driving around neighborhoods for about a year now, checking out the area and picking up house-for-sale flyers. So far, the neighborhoods we’ve liked are way out of our price range… come to find out, nearly every house on the market here in the North Austin area is out of our price range. I refuse to live in a mobile home, but some of those are actually affordable! Ha! I can’t believe a lot of the mobile homes around here could be $90-100K! Geez, those must be some niiiice trailer homes! I’m sure I’ll be adding house-hunting into my posts over time. Right now, though, it’s kinda hopeless and I’m kinda depressed over the whole situation! -Jen
