Wishlist Bandwagon…
Okay, it’s my turn, and yes, I realize I’m a little late getting to this, but there’s a reason for that. I will also not pre-empt this post with the obligitory, “I’m not posting this out of selfishness…blah, blah, blah.” This post is completely selfish, and is comprised things I am “wishing” for, ya’ know, like Genie in the Magic Lamp, kinda wishes. I expect to get none of the following items from anyone, nor do I encourage anyone to get me any of the following items, but for some reason, I am compelled to tell the entire world what my “wishes” are. I also apologize for the lack of linkage, I’m writing this from behind a rather persnickety firewall. So with out any further ado, I proceed.
Computer Stuff (Software and Hardware)
- Dual 2.5 Ghz G5 Tower with Dual 30″ HD Displays (remember, “wish”list) — When maxed out at 8 Gigs of RAM and 500 Gigs of internal storage, this puppy will run you a little over $14K (and that’s with the educational discount).
- 60 Gig iPod Photo — I know that I’ve already got a ‘Pod, but as momma always says, “The more ‘pods the merrier!”
- Halo for Mac — I’ve played this on Mark’s Xbox, and it is just a kick in the pants full of monkeys!
- World of Warcraft — As long I’ve also got a couple of years worth of pre-paid play time
Video Game Stuff
- Xbox with all the fixin’s — you can read Mark’s post to see why
- Halo 2 — ’nuff said
- KOTOR 2 — heard great things about this one
- Burnout 3 for Xbox — great game on PS2, I’d love to experience an online Road Rage!
- Mario Tennis — this one just looks like a lot of fun
- Nintendo DS — I think that there is a lot of potential for this system
Car Stuff
- Two Alpine speakers — for the Red Saturn
- Alpine Console — also for the Red Saturn (this console controls the iPod)
- 2 15″ sub-woofers — currently, I’m running low on Bass…
- Porsche Carrera GT — I wouldn’t necessarily want to own this car, maybe just drive it on the weekends
Electronics
- Samsung TV, matching DVD Player, and matching Speakers — Two words “Wow”
DVD’s and Collections
- Return of the King — This should be at the top of everyone’s DVD Wishlist
- Star Wars Trilogy — Yes, I still don’t have this
- Farscape Seasons 2-4 — Season one was so worth it…TV shows are so much better on DVD
- Hero — I haven’t even seen this movie, and I want to own it!
- Seinfeld — “So what’s with airline food anyway?”
- Blank DVD-R’s — never can have too many back-up discs
- HomestarRunner DVD — I’m not sure how good this would be, but I know I would at least laugh “9 times.”
Miscellaneous
- Apple Stock — I’m not a stock market player or anything, but I do like to support companies, that I like
- Greg Black Mouthpiece One Piece, Medium Weight — My old Schilke is…well…old
- Edge Braced Thayer F attachment — I love the concept here, and I’d like to try it out
