It’s not the mobile part that keeps me from updating, it’s the sick baby part. Hopefully he will start feeling better soon and I will get all the things done I wish to do during his naptime so I can have enough free time to work on an entry or two here. I’m also trying to upgrade to WP 2.0, but doing a proper back-up of all the old files will take time since I am not a wizard. Needless to say, James has needed me more this past week and I have been there for him.

James can crawl! It is awe inspiring to watch and scary at the same time. I grabbed the little camera (the batteries are dead on the big digital video camera) and I was able to catch one good snippit before he got tired and started rolling everywhere again. I’ll work on getting that uploaded as soon as he takes his next nap. I’ll also try to elaborate on this entry and make it more interesting to read. I’m just so excited I had to post SOMETHING about it as soon as I could!

We’re spending some time at Grandma & Grandpa Knight’s house and James pulled to standing totally on his own from somthing taller than he is sitting. I was able to catch some clips of it with the little canon elph in various small movie clips. I stitched the series of avi files together, added a title, and converted the video to mpeg4 so you could all view it! Just click play and enjoy!

Those are older videos. The one on the left is James’ bathtime video that I have uploaded on this site (but requires you download and install quicktime 7) and the one on the right is one of the very first times he rolled over from back to belly.

I’ve decided to keep using this site (the free version) for videos because I really like the feedback I’ve gotten about the ease of viewing. :-)

This video is an old one we just got off the camera. I wanted to try out the site with a video. Leave comments if it doesn’t work for you! Hopefully this will be better than everyone having to go out and download Quicktime 7…

James’ second top front tooth broke through the gums yesterday. Of course, today his gums are swollen so much you can no longer feel the tooth, but it’s there. He bit me yesterday, and I felt it, so it’s there.
