Here are the kiddos!

Lowell refused to nurse today. Pray for him to nurse soon. I think it’s the top 2 teeth which are pushing through his gums right now, but who’s to tell? It’s frustrating at any rate.
James has become increasingly contrary and also getting less sleep so we made him nap today. Naptimes are hit and miss these days. He just had a blast at Grandma’s house yesterday. I’ll get pictures up soon.
We’re officially looking for a house and have narrowed our primary search down to two neighborhoods. For those of you praying for us, our specific prayers are 1. affordable, 2. the right time (we’d like to close on May 1, 2008), 3. in one of our two neighborhoods (Buttercup or Brushy Creeks). We will be applying for our pre-approval in a month and then start doing walk-throughs to become educated about what’s out there and what we like and don’t like in a home. (I can already tell you that I do not like fireplaces and brass bathroom fixtures!!) Our meeting with our realtor today was so educational. There is so much to learn and we’re already getting excited about the process!
We also visited a pumpkin patch last weekend — woooo boy that was almost a mistake. James was being very uncooperative and I was ready to list him for sale on ebay at several points during that trip. We did get some pictures, thanks in part to our friend, Matt, who chased James around and took his mind off of what Mommy and Daddy were telling him to do (come here and stand by this pumpkin, James!). James is in a “NO!” phase and has already gotten in trouble today for yelling that to my (mommy’s) face. This toddler age is wearing me out.

…last year for comparison…
OMG, my car is IN my garage! You guys just don’t know how much work I had to do to empty out my garage and GET MY CAR IN THERE. One of my personal pet peeves is when my garage becomes a storage room. I hate that. Anyhow, it’s now a garage again and I have a carload of stuff to take to Goodwill. Now, it only fits when backed in (per the way the doors open and the arrangement of crap along each side of the narrow narrow garage — 1 car garage) so I will have to practice backing in (i nudged the trash can with the side mirror) but it fits! Woot!
Now. I’m off to wash my hands and re-nap Lowell as the nap-vibes have seemingly evaporated.
